Darren had a good-witch right there in his home, and instead of embracing her good-witch powers, he stifled them. He could have easily taken advantage of her powers, but instead, went to the opposite direction. He shouldn't have made a thing of her powers at all, since he married her (taking vows means taking someone for who they are inside), but instead, should have embraced her for who she really was once he knew everything. She deserved better, and he deserved nothing. All women have powers of different kinds within, and we deserve better than to have those stifled. Love how Bewitched points this out!
